Contest your 2023 property taxes

Not happy with your 2023 property tax bill? Here’s how to dispute it.

Set up an appointment to discuss your concerns with an assessor during the Open Book period. The Open Book period is set for Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. These appointments will occur via phone, email, or virtually.

If you don’t agree with the decision made after the Open Book period, you can attend the Board of Review meeting on May 22, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Kronenwetter Municipal Center. You must make an appointment to attend the Board of Review.

During the Board of Review the property owner can challenge the assessor’s decision.
