The Kronenwetter Police Department takes a very strong stance against domestic abuse and rightfully so. In 2006 and 2007, Marathon County was rated #2 in the State of Wisconsin (behind Milwaukee County) in domestic related homicides. This is an unfortunate statistic and therefore it is the goal of our agency to inform the public on ways to prevent those horrible statistics.
There are several resources available to the victims of domestic violence. We want victims of domestic violence to feel comfortable with contacting their local law enforcement. To speak with an officer you can contact our non-emergency line at 715-261-1200 or if EMERGENCY DIAL 911.
