Lee Ann Spoon joins  Kronenwetter Police Department

The Village’s new part-time police and municipal clerk sure knows her way around law enforcement agencies.

Lee Ann Spoon spent 29 years working in various roles at the Stevens Point Police Department, most recently as the records bureau supervisor.

Spoon decided to apply for the position with the Kronenwetter Police Department because of the flexible schedule.

"It offered a way to work a couple of days per week to get back into the law enforcement atmosphere and earn a little spending money,” she said.

Spoon started the job in March and is quickly learning KPD’s processes and systems.

"We are fortunate to have LeeAnn as part of our team,” said Spoon. “Her experience with the Stevens Point Police Department is very beneficial to us, and it has helped her adapt here rather quickly."

Spoon was born in Wisconsin Rapids, but moved to Stevens Point, WI when she was five-years-old.

She attended both SPASH (Stevens Point Area Senior Highschool) and UW-Stevens Point.

She has been married for 38 years to her husband, Shawn. They have three children and five grandchildren. Another will be added in June.

She loves to spend time with her family on Lake DuBay. She also leads a very active lifestyle filled with golf, walking and bike riding.

We are so happy she is now a part of the Kronenwetter team! Welcome, Lee Ann!
